Queen of Your Own Life

Accept | Back to Me Month

by Cindy Ratzlaff

During Back to Me Month, we’ve asked you to play, hum, ask, listen and so many other actions. You’ve practiced listing positive attributes that you have within you and you’ve chosen to see yourselves as the powerful, perfect, passionate women that you are.  Now we ask you to accept the woman you are, today, with all of your gifts and with all of your flaws.

We believe that all of us are works in progress, from the day we’re born until the day we depart this life.  That means that every single day is an opportunity to make a choice to use our gifts or to make new choices–every–single–day.

Today, let’s take a quiet moment to read over our list of positive attributes and take a deep breath of gratitude for being that woman. Let’s accept that the positive things we’re able to say about ourselves defines us more than any negative things we say about ourselves.  Let’s do that together.

Accept.  Repeat after us. “I am Queen of my own life, not in spite of all my life experiences and choices, but because of them. I will accept the Queen I am today and will congratulate myself today on a life well-lived.  If not not, when? So sayeth the Queen.”

  1. Karen Sue Bruns says:

Making sure that every day has “ME” time helps clear my mind of all the nonsense I can’t do anything about and sets my course straight ahead to happiness

  2. Pamela Young says:

Every day and every way my life gets better and better because I am a better person from having gone through all of the experiences that I have gone through. I am deserving of all of the good things life has to offer, and now I am worthy to wear the crown.
