Admire Yourself | Royal Reminders

by Cindy Ratzlaff

The evidence was all around her. She was a strong, brave, creative, intelligent, woman. She finally realized she was worthy of her own admiration. ~ Queenisms™
We are all worthy of our own admiration. We each have the right to love ourselves. This is not selfish. This is honesty. Yet we’re so reluctant to name and claim our own good qualities. Let’s flip the switch and look at ourselves in a new light. The more we practice speaking kindly to and about ourselves, the more powerful we become.  Let’s start now.  Dare to name one thing about yourself that you admire.

This is such a great one today and for this month cause I am trying to re-claim myself. The one thing that I admire about myself is that I am a good friend. I also feel that I have good ideas and I am a good gardener.

  2. Mary A says:

I care deeply about those around me; that is one of my best traits. Today I will practice using that trait towards myself.

  3. cindy says:

    Bravo Queen Mary!

  4. cindy says:

Love this Queen Chery. And, reclaiming yourself is such a wonderful goal and we’re here for you while you do it. **clapping for you**

  5. Suzanne Thomas says:

    I am Beautiful.

On Sunday I had my long relaxing bath and I conciously bathed every part of my, telling myself how beautiful I am.

Now this is a bit hard to write, because society dictates what is beautiful, what is old, what is young, what is good. But I am approaching my 40th birthday with glee! I have grey, nay, Silver hairs in amongst the brown, my wrinkles are showing up more, people telling me i need to moisturise, but my body and my face are the way they were made, and the way that my life has made them, and by dishonouring that, I dishonour my life. Why would I want to dishonour what has made me who I am?

Love to all you ladies xxx

  6. cindy says:

Hail Queen Suzanne, Wise as she is beautiful! Bravo!

  7. Debby says:

I am turning 55 next month and I just graduated with my BA in Early Childhood Education. I am also divorcing after 37 years of marriage. I would have to say that I admire my tenacity. I take every day as it comes and do my best with what I am given. I keep my head held high and go through life with dignity and grace. Look out world, here I come!

  8. cindy says:

Queen Debby, Tenacity just might be our new favorite word. Congratulations on your breathtakingly beautiful journey.

  9. Leesa says:

I admire my ability to be vulnerable, to be open, and willing to love in every situation, over and over again. Being called naive at times is okay when I know I am living authentically, with integrity and a pure heart, because I choose love – for myself and for others.
Thank you glorious Queens for reminding us of our wisdom, beauty and grace.

  10. cindy says:

Queen Leesa, Vulnerability is the perfect ability to accompany you on the journey of life. Being open and willing are the tools most likely to help one find happiness.

  11. cindy says:

Queen Leesa, vulnerability and openness are true gifts. They keep you ready and available to experience every moment of joy that is coming your way. And, so much joy is within our reach. Thank you so much for taking the time to share here.
