Ain’t Life Grand | Queenisms

Ain't Life Grandby Kathy Kinney

Sometimes she needed to remind herself that it really wasn’t any of her business what anyone else thought of her. But most of the time she really got a thrill out of enjoying who she had become and the adventure she was on. She thought, “Ain’t life grand?” ~ Queenisms™

We’ll bet that you can think of at least one thing going on in your life that makes you think “Ain’t life grand?” Right? Well life gets grander when we focus on those things. We always recommend making lists of those things that make us feel gratitude because there are days (at least for us) when gratitude seems hard to come by. Those are the days when a good gratitude list is a thing of beauty.  Your list can be as simple as “woke up today – Woo Hoo.” Or, your list can be compex like “I have the capacity to think of ways to plot a path toward my goal.” Whatever is on your list, let’s be grateful because life really is a grand adventure.

    Dear Queens..
I know what you mean when you say: ‘woke up today–woohoo!’. I can say this, I notice when I don’t keep a gratitude journal, I find that my life seems to have more problems, more pain, loneliness etc.

A gratitude journal doesn’t have to be fancy..a plain old notebook works..sometimes just a chunk of paper and a pencil..main thing is you get started and write something you are grateful for down! Yes! waking up is good! I am grateful I can breathe! From the very first day you can look into that mirror and say: “You are beautiful, I love you! ” And when you get to the place where you mean it, that is a day to be grateful for indeed.
Knowing I have written a ‘book’ here, I just want to say: Queen Kathy and Queen Cindy, I appreciate you and I love you both.

Queen Arlene, You can write a “book” to us anytime. We’re grateful for you.
