Do you live in fear that someone will find out you’re not as smart as they think you are? You are not alone. There is a name for this fear. It’s officially called Impostor Syndrome. Women, and some men, feel that others will discover they don’t know as much as people might think they do. Well here’s the deal. Nobody knows everything. You are not an impostor. You are a human being who knows a lot, has a great deal of experience and is willing to be a lifelong learner. That makes you incredible and a valuable resource for others. So instead of letting fear sideline you, dare to be who you are – good enough and no pretender. Impostor Syndrome is more common that you can imagine. For some reason, we’ve collectively agreed to think we’re not good enough. Let’s nip that in the bud, shall we?
