Every day we talk with you all about the joys and the obstacles of life. Everyone has both. Everyone. And throughout our life’s journey, it’s possible that we’re going to hit patches were we lose sight of that fact. Joy is around the corner. It might even be here right now. But often the obstacles cloud our vision and shift our attention away from the most wonderful moments. Noticing those moments might take practice. Starting small can help. Did you wake up this morning? Yes you did. That’s a moment of joy. Life has continued and the possibilities are unlimited. Did you brush your teeth? That means you’re hopeful for the future and you want to have teeth to chew food and nourish yourself. Celebrate your optimism. Did you log on to the internet to read this? Well, well, well. Aren’t you a creative, resourceful, intelligent person. Let’s celebrate that moment of joy. We know, we know. All your obstacles might still be in place, but don’t you feel just a little better when you give yourself the gift of celebrating your grit?
