Merit Badge | Royal Reminders

by Kathy Kinney

“She was doing a great job living her life and she needed to remind herself of that more often.” – Queenisms™

We all need a reminder, now and then, don’t we Queens. We’d like to hear some good, positive news. Tell us how you’re doing a great job in your life. Just one thing. Let’s make a list to remind ourselves how amazing we truly are. We’ll consider the list to be our “Merit Badge” list of Queenly fabulous-ness.

  1. I have been posting hints and encouraging others to post their hints in order to declutter their lives in all areas of their lives — physical, body, spiritual, financial, network, relationships, nature, beliefs, and self. The page is growing in the number of people who like it slowly, but surely.

I am loving helping others be the best they can be while keeping myself accountable to do the same.

Well I guess I am most proud of my new life style. I started a new way of taking care of me and my husband. He had been diagnosed with prostate cancer 5 years ago and I wanted to find out if a different way of eating would help him. I needed to shed some pounds too that depression had added to me. A good friend of mine introduced me to a liefstyle way of eating and i liked it, not only for the way it made me feel but as a bonus I started to shed pounds almost effortlessy. I am now 35 lbs thinner, feel and look better than I ever did and hubby has been in remission for over 5 years. I guess you can say I am proud that I had the courage and determination to stick to this lifestye change, it has made me more confident, youthful and happy. Hubby and I feel so much better and I really think this has added more years to his and my life.

have a wonderful day, my fellow Queens! all hail!

  5. cindy says:

You do deserve credit for trying, at whatever age, Queen Meredith. Living with pain can wear anyone down and this merit badge is most definitely for you.

Isn’t it a great reminder, Queen Arlene. Sometimes all it takes is a reminder and we realize we’ve been holding our breath. Thank you for taking the time to check in and let us know you’re here among us. We appreciate that more than you can know.

  7. cindy says:

Queen Diana, we love hearing about the changes you made and the choices you employed to take charge of your health and your husband’s health. That kind of action leads to a happier life because it was your choice, your plan and your desire to feel better. Bravo. We’re both clapping in your general direction…can you hear us?

  8. cindy says:

Queen Margaret, bravo! Clutter is one of those things that keeps us from leading a full and happy life. Coaching people on ways to declutter is such an important mission. You are a true Queen and we admire your mission.
