Play and Work Both Matter

Play is underrated. Work is valued. We love to say we work hard. We admire others for their work ethic. Nothin’ wrong with that. But wouldn’t it be great if we could say, about one another, “Boy, she sure knows how to relax.” Let’s practice adding a little more play into our lives to help create the balance we all crave. And, let’s acknowledge ourselves and all Queens for striking that balance with play and work. We admire a strong work ethic. So why not admire the ability to play and create balance in life? When we change the language we use to talk about balance, we’ll be taking a step toward helping everyone see the value in play.
