Ready to Get to Work on Happiness

Kathy Kinney and Cindy Ratzlaff create original jolts of inspiration called Queenisms at http://QueenofYourOwnLife.com

She had always thought, “If I was richer, thinner, prettier, had a better education or nicer job I’d finally be happy!” But there were women who had it all and they still weren’t happy because they also had the 3 “D’s” – death, divorce and general destruction. Nope, happiness was an inside job that required practice and patience. She decided she was ready to get to work. – Queenisms™

Let’s face it. Stuff happens. We can be going along in life and suddenly there’s a big boulder in the road. For some of us, it seems that the road is nothing but boulders. For others, that boulder is a shock and something we never expected. Either way, we’ve got to get around it in order to keep moving down the path of life. When we panic, we forget to turn our heads to the left and the right. Sometimes there is a perfectly safe, good and even pretty path around the boulder. Sometimes there is a gravel trail. Sometimes there’s only the hint of an opening in the brush. But if we don’t look or if we don’t venture to try, we’ll sit by that boulder and bemoan the fact that our path is blocked.

As long as you are alive, the path is never completely blocked. That’s a fact. Have you ever had to look for a new path? Let’s share our stories and share our strength.

t’s true… stuff certainly does happen… and paths always do open up… which I forget. And it’s ok for me to be happy. I forget that too. These Queenisms really do make me think, and smile, and step out a little differently. Thank you!
