Respect | Celebrating the Royal YOU

by Cindy Ratzlaff

“She vowed to remind herself, every day, that she was worth the effort it took to treat herself with respect.” ~ Queenisms™

We’d like to see every Queen take this vow in 2012, and truly believe it. Everything we’ve been talking about in December has been leading us farther along the path to a new year.

This is the year we resolve to truly admire ourselves for the way we’re living our lives; to value the journey, to take joy in the small moments and to celebrate the fortitude with which we travel through the rocky places on lives paths.  And, through it all, we’ll be here to honor and encourage you.

Are there victories you’d like to celebrate?  We’d like to cheer, send applause and hold your moments of joy high for all to see.  Leave those in the comments below and we’ll celebrate together!  So sayeth the Queens.

Congratulations on the next step in your amazing journey, Queen Kathy!

  3. In April it will be my 4 years since I was diagnosed with an incurable, but treatable form of Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer. Last March I finished a 2 plus year treatment protocal, and in spite of some side effects, am doing O.K.. While they aren’t calling it remission, I have no detectable evidence of disease at the moment and am tryoing to live each day to the fullest. When I heard the words ” you have cancer” back in 2008, I didn’t think I would be here today….

Long may you reign, Queen Debbie. You’ve been on an incredible journey and most of it has been uphill. You are amazing and we’re so glad and grateful to hear that you’re getting and feeling better every day. Here’s to 2012 being a carefree, joyful, healthy year!
