Queen of Your Own Life

Self Love | Royal Decisions

by Kathy Kinney

“She realized that life was what it was.   Then, just that suddenly, she understood the only part of it she had any control over was how she lived it.  So she chose to do it with self love.” ~ Queenisms™

We so often equate self-love with being self-ish. We’re on a quest to divorce the two notions and to say once and for all that loving yourself does not make you selfish.  We think self love and self care are essential if we are to fulfill our purpose and passion in the world.  If we are happy, healthy and comfortable with ourselves, we’re more likely to be open, welcoming and joyful with others.

We believe self love is an important step to truly experiencing happiness.  Can you easily and honestly say you love yourself?  For many of us it takes practice.  Let’s start here and declare something about ourselves that we love.

Good morning from sunny Central America, wonderful ladies!

I have just discovered your site…Quite by accident, really. What a wonderful place it is, indeed…!

I watched your short video, where you introduced yourselves and asked me to ponder upon two questions….WOW…You have made me think and set some time apart for this.

Since I am almost 50, I have reached that point in life where a lot of re-evaluating has been done. I have suffered from serious emotional and physical pain in the past, but ever since I realized just how important healing our memories and working on being happy today, my life has changed. Even my health problems have almost disappeared!

So…thank you for your time and honesty. It is truly helpful, and refreshing, to know other wonderful – yet imperfect- women are out there….struggling as well.

Many blessings to you and yours!
