She decided to stop trying to be who she wasn’t and just celebrate who she was. – Queenisms™

Can you imagine how much more enjoyable life would be if we could just drop our “what if” mentality and celebrate who we are rather than who we wish we were? Let’s take a step in that direction and give ourselves a good old fashion shout out today. Tell us something worth celebrating, about yourselves, today. Don’t be shy.  We’ll start. We think we’re pretty darned creative and we’re giving ourselves three cheers.  Your turn!

  1. I have a tendency to tell it like it is. I try to be gentle about it most of the time but sometimes I just speak it. I am going to take pride in my “no nonsense” approach and celebrate it!!!!

  2. Cathy says:

Love this….and am going to try to celebrate who I am. Thank you.

  3. Clara Oakes says:

I started running when I was 60 and ran my first half marathon last year at the age of 62! I have a wall full of medals as a reminder of my accomplishments. That makes me feel pretty darn good!

  4. I have gotten over my severe performance anxiety to some extent so that I can now sing in public. I have a voice that touches people deeply.

  5. Bella says:

I’m proud of the business I created. For the longest I didn’t feel secure about myself for not having a high-paying career anymore, but I love my life, and I have dreams for my future, and I’m closer to realizing those dreams now, than I was before.

  6. cindy says:

We’re right there with you Queen Bella. We both had very high-paying careers and either through choice or through change, have created something new for ourselves and are feeling the joy of developing our whole selves instead of just a single element. Bravo to you.

  7. cindy says:

    Yay, Queen Colleen!
