Queen of Your Own Life

Smacked by Life | Queenisms

by Kathy Kinney

Life had smacked her hard – a number of times. And now she lived in fear, forever waiting for it to happen again. One day she sat down and was overwhelmed by how very tired she was. As she felt her mind and body relax she realized that no matter when or what happened she would find the courage to handle it. So she decided to let go because the time for happiness was now. – Queenisms™

It is exhausting to fight with life. At times it’s necessary to simply let it be. There are moments when we have to surrender to our powerlessness over people, places and things and tap into our innate ability to move forward, without agenda, because survival depends on moving forward. Trusting yourself to take care of business during times of trouble is a skill you’ve been developing all your life. Admit that you are capable will give you the ability to stay on course when all around you feel confused. You are a remarkable woman. Let happiness happen. Dare to know that you are capable of letting go of fear, worry and anger.

Perfect advise for someone going through divorce after 26 years, becoming an empty nester, and dealing with an aging parent all at once. It is exhausting to fight with life.

Queen Sandra, We’re so glad to be here with you. Everyone is walking with a pebble in their shoe; some bigger than others. It’s good for us all to slow down and walk together with an understanding heart.
