Somebody called her a smarty pants and she thought, “why yes, yes I am. Thank you for noticing.” – Queenisms™
When we were kids, being called a smarty pants was an insult. It meant you were too big for your britches or a braggart or somehow calling attention to yourself. We’d like to go back in time and tell that kid that being good at something or smart as a whip was a good thing and nothing to feel embarrassed about. But we can’t. So let’s tell our adult selves, shall we? We think you’re all smarty pants. First of all because you subscribe to this blog, and second because you’re seekers. We can tell from the comments you leave that you’re trying to create more joy and happiness in the world and seeking to be people who are comfortable in your own skins. We love that about you. So here’s to the smarty pants among us. You’re amazing.
