Surprise! You’re Enough

She’d spent her whole life trying to lose weight, gain confidence or stay ahead of the competition. Imagine her surprise when she realized she was good enough – just the way she was! – Queenisms™

We have to admit that we write these daily Queenisms for ourselves and we’re just pleased as punch when they speak to you as well. We still have moments of regret when we realize how long it took us to figure out we were enough – just the way we are. But that regret is now just a tiny moment and then we’re able to get on with it and enjoy who we are, who we’ve become and to see the possibilities of who we may be in the future.

You see, we believe that as long as you’re alive you have the opportunity to make choices. Sometimes we’ll continue to make the same choice because it works for us. Sometimes we’ll make a new choice because circumstances have changed. But we all have choices. Will you face this day with hope or despair? Will you look for good or see only the bad? Will you give yourself a chance to support, love and cherish yourself? Will you take actions that support your health and well-being? Will you relax, play, laugh, sing, knit, take a walk or some other thing that you can do because you can do it? What will you do today because you are enough – just the way you are?
