Queen of Your Own Life

The Power of a Kind Word

She drew a deep breath, let it out slowly, and reminded herself that everyone was scared - not just her. So she vowed to say one kind thing to everyone she met today. - Queenisms™

Turning our attention away from our own fears and focusing on uplifting others is a happiness strategy. Notice we didn’t say “doing everything for others.” We said “uplifting others.” We’re all afraid at one time or another. We’re afraid of being alone, unseen, not heard, devalued or foolish. Why not decide to be a soft spot in someone’s day today? Here’s how:Purposefully choose to say a kind word to everyone you encounter today and we guarantee that one choice will change your experience of the day. That one choice will send out a ripple of calm in the world. That one choice will make you less afraid. Will you make the choice? We’ll start. We think you are amazing and we just wanted to thank you, in advance, for reading what we write and being on this journey toward happiness with us. When you comment, share and otherwise let us know you’re here, you affirm that what we do matters. And that means the world to us. So thank, brilliant, beautiful, kind, loving, sharing, giving Queens.

    Hello Queenisms ☺

I’m going to enjoy this challenge today. I’m sure that in uplifting others my day will also benefit. I run into about 50 people during my work day then at University I have a chance to do it there too. Imagine the difference in their days . I can’t wait.
