She suddenly realized that the only opinion of her that truly mattered was her own. She promised herself not to forget it again. – Queenisms™
Learning to not take life so personally is a lesson we learn and then have to practice over and over again. Somedays our self-esteem is shakier than others and all it takes is a raised eyebrow or a roll of the eyes by a friend, family member or co-worker and we’re feeling bad about ourselves. In the end it doesn’t really matter what anyone else thinks of us because it’s only our opinion that truly matters. We promise ourselves to not forget that again. It takes practice but it’s worth it and we know you can do it.
