Queen of Your Own Life

Your Whole Life is Still Ahead of You

You Don't Have to Be 21 is an original Queenisms quote by inspirational authors Kathy Kinne and Cindy Ratzlaff of Queen of Your Own Life.

She promised herself not to give up. It was never too late to follow her dream. ~ Queenisms™

Your whole life is ahead of you and for many of you, the best is yet to come. It doesn’t matter how old or young you are. There are beautiful, enjoyable, joyful moments in your future, if you choose to experience them fully. Every morning when we wake up, we’re gifted with a second chance to experience life the way we want to. The circumstances are not as powerful as our intentions and attitude. There is goodness and beauty all around us and when we set out to see it, we will see it. When we determine to experience it, we experience it. When we choose to change our physical or emotional circumstances, the way to do so becomes clear. When we decide to learn a new way to do something, we simply do. All things really are possible. And the road to where you want to go, starts with you.

Now here’s the catch. The road, the journey and even the destination don’t always look exactly like you picture them. But if you can let go of your preconceived notion of what the perfect journey will be like and allow yourself to enjoy the one you’re on, life is much, much sweeter and considerably more joy-filled.

How’s everyone doing today?

I have come to realize and encourage others that… “your way is not always the only way or the best way. When you just ‘go with the flow’ when things aren’t going the way you want or perceive, you just may find a new, better, even happier way” Attitude is what it’s all about. Open your mind and heart to the endless possibilities that surround you.

I’m turning 55 this year, and my thinking and being are much more open than when I was in my twenties. I look forward to living the life that has been waiting for me…

What a great writing you have shared here. At the age of 50 (yes, I said 50) I’m returning to college, this time to follow my Real dreams. For years, I’ve worked at “working”. By this, I mean I did what I originally went to college for, and I did the job well. But I wasn’t happy. It was Not what I Want to do.
I have made the decision to return to college, this time in a field that will help me follow my dreams. There are nay sayers out there, but I don’t listen to them. I know this is what I’m meant to do, and I’m going for it. It’s never, ever, to late to follow one’s heart, and one’s dreams.
    God bless
