I love that I can connect with people and encourage. I have the ability to “feel” a person’s energy and know whether it’s someone I can connect with and hear out or lift up….I have been through much adversity and still have the ability to love people deeply, it’s what I do. And once I give the gift of my love, I never take it back, regardless of the circumstances or if the recipiant proves undeserving.
I believe that love given is never forgotten. One may try to bury it for a time, but it always surfaces, to be remembered…and wondered over..

I am the master list maker…
Every day I create my “to list” and hope to check off each task…that rarely happens…but the list helps me to keep my focus and remember all that I have to do…but I do make a place on the list for me…over in the corner there are some Lizzy to do’s…read, write, exercise. I start my day with these three and whatever else happens I did something for my body, mind and spirit.
This week I started a new list, the Ta Duh list…all the things I achieved…a focus on my success not what didn’t get accomplish. I’ll get to those tomorrow! Lists are a good thing.

One of my (many) passions in life has been sewing, creating beautiful interiors for my clients homes. It gives me great pleasure to see the satisfaction on their faces…with my cancer diagnosis 4 years ago and ongoing treatment, I was not able to work as much as I wanted. I am still struggling with side effects…one of the worse being ongoing fatigue, but I am determined to enjoy and take advantage of the good days when I have them, and to rest and not fret over the not so great days. I have goals that I want to achieve,and plan to peruse them to the best of my ability.

I love my sense of humor. I can make others and myself laugh, even in the classroom when I teach. I love that I am very clever and intuitive. I often “know” things others don’t know yet. Then, I find out I was right. Also, I love how I am the HEART of my wonderful family. I am the hub the wheel turns around. I love how God uses me to bless others by praying for them. I love how I often get to hear the responses to those many prayers. I love how God has particularly gifted me for the field of education I am in. I wonk wonders with the special education students I teach. I am past retirement age, yet still enjoy getting up and coming to work every day with a smile on my face and a spring in my step.

Queen Cindy! Look at some beginners dance lessons on You Tube and decide what you want to learn first! Dancing and the music will transform you I promise. I learned to tap dance and now I am learning Zumba. You can do it– and you will have so much FUN!! Keep us posted. Cordially, Queen Colleen
