Why Not Take A Chance?

Fulfilling our dreams is not just about taking a step from “what if” to “why not”, it’s about deciding, “if not now, when?”  We have come to believe that everything we want is right on the other side of fear.  Some people like to race towards their destination while others get stuck in their fear and have trouble moving forward.  There is no right way or wrong way – it’s just your way.  So, why not start taking tiny steps through your fear so that one day you can look back and see the long and beautiful path you have been on. If not now, when?

Be Who You Promised Yourself To Be

Have you grown up to be all that you hoped and promised yourself to be when you were little?  We promised ourselves that we would be brave and honest but life can be scary and sometimes we were saying yes when we really wanted to say no. We had problems setting boundaries because we were afraid that people wouldn’t like us. We decided we didn’t want to let those little girls down and began protecting ourselves by setting strong boundaries.  It was uncomfortable in the beginning but it became so much easier to set a boundary.  It takes courage but there is a freedom in living an honest life and it is a promise fulfilled.

Enjoy Yourself a Heck of a Lot

She decided that if you come from love and let go of the fear of being judged, you and every one around you will enjoy yourselves a whole heck of a lot more. - Queenisms™

Nobody likes the feeling of being judged.  It happens all of the time, someone may judge what you say, how you live or how you look.  The truth is we are all more alike than different.  We are all blood, bone, flesh, dreams, hopes and fears.  Everyone has loved ones – mothers, fathers, friends, neighbors and we all want lives that are filled with love and respect.  Don’t you agree we will all enjoy ourselves a heck of a lot more  in this world  when we make the choice to live and let live.

The Courage to Show Up

She didn't always want to get out of bed but still she showed up every day willing to do her best. That took courage. - Queenisms™

Life, while a grand adventure, can be hard at times.  Sometimes just getting out of bed, brushing our teeth, getting dressed and heading out the door seems as hard as climbing Mount Everest but we do it.  It takes a strong, steady kind of courage to do it  every day come rain or shine.  Isn’t it time you patted yourself on the back for being such an amazingly brave woman?

Know Who Has Your Back

We all have family and friends that we love but there are only a few people in our lives who really have our back.  We’re talking about the person who loves you unconditionally – no matter what and is there to support you come thick or thin.  Having one or more people like that in your life is a priceless gift.  The only catch is in order to have someone like that in our lives we have to offer that gift in return.  The world is full of brilliant woman who willing and able to be a good friend.  If you don’t have one, isn’t it time to begin the adventure of looking for one?

Straighten Your Crown and Let’s Roll

Backbone, courage, spunk, grit, fortitude, guts, gumption – we all have more of these qualities than we realize.  Life has a way of testing us and no matter what we think, we always pass with flying colors and move on to the next lesson bringing along our new found knowledge.  Learning to trust in our resilience comes with practice and experience.  We love the visual of a strong woman looking in the mirror, straightening her crown and saying to herself, “I’m ready, let’s roll!” – just as she heads out the door.  Why not give it a try?

You Are A Warrior Queen

Being a Warrior Queen doesn’t mean you’re out in the street fighting with your fists or a large stick!  It means you have tapped into the limitless river of courage that flows through us all and are brave enough to stand up for your family, friends and yourself.  Being brave enough to be a Warrior Queen  doesn’t mean you’re not afraid, it means you have made the decision to walk through the fear to find the adventure on the other side.  This is the kind of courage that makes you a Warrior Queen.

Walk Through Your Fear

She was sick and tired of being sick and tired. So she decided to walk through her fear and make a change. - Queenisms™

It’s hard to make changes but when you finally get tired of the pain of where you’re at, then you do it.  Change is always about facing our fears.  It’s funny how the fear of the unknown is more frightening than what we are going through at the moment.  It’s like jumping into a lake full of cold water on a hot summer day.  You want to cool off but you know the water is going to cold and finally you just do it – and just that quickly the coldness is gone and the water is so refreshing.  What were you waiting for?

Listen to Your Queen Voice

She decided to turn up the volume on her Queen voice. The one that said she was brave, strong and worthy of all good things in life. - Queenisms™

She decided to turn up the volume on her Queen voice. The one that said she was brave, strong and worthy of all good things in life. – Queenisms™

We all have a chorus of voices whispering in our head.  It doesn’t mean there’s something wrong, it’s often just the echo of something negative someone else said to us.  We’re talking about the quiet but important voice that warns us not to step off the curb when a car is coming.  We call it our Queen voice and if you listen hard enough you will also hear it saying, “You are worth of all things good in life.”  It’s time to turn up the volume on this positive voice.

There’s Always Something More

You don't have to be twenty-one to have your whole life ahead of you. There is always something more. - Queenisms™

You don’t have to be twenty-one to have your whole life ahead of you. There is always something more. – Queenisms™

You can make choices to start a new life right now.  You don’t have to be young or fresh out of school – you can make the choice and start taking the steps towards fulfilling a dream you’ve always had. If you’re feeling trapped or stuck the chances are that the only thing in your way is you.  Say out loud what you want and start taking the small steps necessary to make it happen. It doesn’t matter if you’re 18 or 108 – there is always something more.
